Village Take Out, or VTO, is a new pizza place that opened this summer in the old Pie Girl spot on RT 79 West just across from Pete's. VTO is full of small town charm, which makes sense as VTO has a second pizza shop in Odessa, a small town 20 minutes from Ithaca. Ordering and pick-up from these guys is a breeze as they are fast and efficient on the phone and also in making the pies.

Our pies were nicely loaded with cheese, that was ever so lightly browned and pulled apart pleasingly when hot.
The crust is delicate, light and perfectly cooked.
The sauce is sweet and tangy.
The toppings: mushrooms were fresh and thick, the pepperoni was plentiful and mild.
Not salty, very refreshing to find a pizza that is not overly salty.
