The Eat-in Experience: We ordered our pizza when we arrived at Sammy's: we didn't have to wait long for our Pizza.

Sammy's was fast with the Pizza, so you wont have to wait for your food. Sammy's has great AC, which makes for a great place to eat in the Summer and they have a new dining area. They do have a TV in the Main room that we thought played a bit too loud.

The Pizza: 9 Pizzas out of 10
Pizza Style: New York Style Thin Crust
Zesty cheese that slides down your mouth; you know the kind of cheese where you don't mind picking the last piece off of the delivery box, that is the the kind they use.
The crust is inconsistent; within the same pizza it can be fluffy, but other bites it is just ever so slightly undercooked. Perhaps a minute longer in the oven would make it crispier and consistent throughout; or perhaps sitting in a hot, insulated delivery bag would allow it to continue cooking a bit more and thus be perfect. We will try delivery sometime and let you know.
The sauce is a joy and full of flavor and goes great with the cheese; the sauce is what makes the pie come alive in your mouth.
Not too Salty, we were not parched from eating their pizza.
Bonus: Low Prices: $9.99 for a large, 17" pizza. And of course lots of pizza by slice for the walk-in crowd.

The Delivery: Sammy's Pizzeria delivers to all of downtown Ithaca for free, and they deliver outside of Ithaca (they will go pretty far too) for $2 more: you will be happy to know the $2 goes to the driver.
