Sal's is very generous with the Cheese. Pizza is cooked just right, as the cheese is perfectly done with just a bit burn to the mozzarella, which really brings out the flavor of the cheese. All that cheese means there will be oils from the cheese -- but it tasted great.
Salty – an hour after this pizza you will be looking for a tall glass of water.
The crust is doughy and has a hearty bread bottom, you get your money's worth as this is a heavy pie, but all that bread makes it a bit chewy.
The sauce is plentiful, which goes well with the breadiness, but is not memorable (perhaps it was too much salt.)
